What Google’s new AI search controls mean
Google is giving website owners clearer controls over how pages can appear in generative search experiences. For brands in the UK and UAE, the opportunity is simple: make useful, original pages that answer real customer questions, then make those pages easy for search systems to understand.
1. Build pages around first-hand expertise
Use examples from your campaigns, production process and customer results. A London retail launch and a Dubai hospitality campaign may target the same service, but the proof, language and buying context are different. Explain what you did, what changed and what a reader can apply.
2. Structure content for people and machines
Give every page one clear topic, a descriptive title, short sections and direct answers. Add useful headings, captions, descriptive image alt text and internal links to related services. Keep important information in the page itself instead of hiding it behind scripts or visual effects.
3. Make UK and UAE intent explicit
Include the locations you genuinely serve, local spelling and relevant commercial detail. Mention London, Manchester, Dubai or Abu Dhabi only when the work, audience or delivery model supports it. This helps a reader decide whether your team is a fit without creating thin location pages.
4. Measure visibility beyond clicks
Track impressions, branded searches, qualified enquiries and assisted conversions. Compare pages before and after improving first-hand evidence, FAQs, video transcripts and internal links. AI search visibility is a business signal, not a vanity metric.
Practical checklist
- Write a specific promise in the opening paragraph.
- Add original examples, numbers or process detail.
- Use descriptive headings and image alt text.
- Link to one relevant Creative & Co. service page.
- Review the page in Search Console after publishing.
Google’s latest guidance reinforces the same principle: create helpful content for people, keep it technically accessible and show why your brand is worth trusting. Creative & Co. can turn that strategy into search-ready video, campaign and brand content for audiences across the UK and UAE.
